Frank Stopa is one of the three founding members of Discovery Deep. His functions within Discovery Deep include organizational management, fund raising, marketing, project development and dive work. In his professional life, he is a management and security consultant who has traveled extensively around the world and written three books in the field. In his free time, he enjoys writing and publishing. Thus far, he has written two novels, The Brotherhood, and The Long Winter: Intrigue at Valley Forge. He is currently working on a third.

Frank also enjoys photography and occasionally submits his work to underwater photography competitions. As a diver, Frank holds the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating as well as a number of TDI certifications in technical diving. He has a strong interest in history and enjoys combining that interest with his underwater photography, cave and wreck diving.
